On March 3^rd, School/Hospital of Stomatology held a symposium with experts and professors in Conference Room 639 of Medical Experimental Building, East District, Chengguan Campus, to discuss the high-quality development of the School /hospital. School/hospital leaders, professors, associate professors attended the meeting which was presided over by Li Liuhao, Party Secretary of the school.

The meeting focused on "running a first-class university in the northwest to promote the high-quality development of Lanzhou University in the new era" and conducted in-depth discussions. At the same time, experts and professors at the meeting put forward valuable suggestions on running of colleges and hospitals based on the actual progress.

Participants suggested that the School/Hospital should seize the strategic opportunity of revitalizing higher education in the central and western regions in the new era, give full play to its unique advantages, take the initiative to make up for shortcomings. In this case, we must continuously improve the working mechanism of " Training and Attracting Steadily" for talents, effectively strengthen team building in teaching, scientific research and clinical practice, refine and improve classified assessment methods, and establish and improve mechanisms of reward & punishment. Thus, the overall improvement of standards of management and service will be made, the coordinated development of medical, teaching and research will be accelerated.

Dean Liu Bin arranged and deployed key tasks in 2022 and elaborated on relevant reform policies.

From the perspective of the development of the School/hospital, with the attitude of ownership and based on the actual work, the participants put forward valuable opinions and suggestions. Li Liuhao remarked that all suggestions will be summarized and analyzed, and also will be addressed into the 2022 working plans and conscientiously implemented to foster rapid development of the cause.
